The Consumer as CEO
"Food 2020: The Consumer as CEO" is a new study that examines consumer perceptions and expections about food. Consumers in the United States and four other countries were surveyed. More than half said they wanted greater involvement in the use of ingredients and additives, the source of ingredients and the treatment of animals; nutritional content; and who should be responsible for food safety and quality.
