AFBF Achievement Award
The American Farm Bureau Federation Achievement Award Program is designed to recognize those Young Farmers & Ranchers who have excelled in their farming/ranching operations and honed their leadership abilities to superiority.
The contestants will be evaluated on a combination of their farming operation growth and financial progress of operation, Farm Bureau leadership, as well as leadership outside of Farm Bureau. More specifically, the judges will be looking for excellence in management, growth and scope of the enterprise and self-initiative that have been displayed throughout the operation. A contestant’s participation in Farm Bureau and other organizations is a definite point-getter from the judges. More information about the Achievement Award and the event application are below.
Four award winners will be chosen for the 2015 AFBF YF&R Achievement Award. The winner will receive their choice of either a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado or a 2015 GMC Sierra. Three finalists will each receive $2,500 cash and $500 in STIHL merchandise and a Case IH Farmall 65A tractor. Special thanks to our 2015 sponsors, General Motors, Case IH, and STIHL, for their continued support of American Farm Bureau Young Farmers & Ranchers Achievement Award.
Congratulations to our 2014 Achievement Award finalists Shane and Mary Courtney from Kentucky, Jacob and Danielle Larson from Florida, Dwight and Jamie Little from Idaho, and to our winners Brandon and Katherine Whitt from Tennessee.
