Collegiate Discussion Meet

The Collegiate Discussion Meet contest is designed to simulate a committee meeting where discussion and active participation are expected from each college-age participant. This competition is evaluated on an exchange of ideas and information on a pre-determined topic. The judges are looking for the contestant that offers constructive criticism, cooperation, and communication while analyzing agricultural problems and developing solutions. AFBF YF&R Collegiate Discussion Meet Winner* Receives:

  • A $2,500 scholarship

The Three Finalists* Will Each Receive:

  • A$1,000 scholarship

Every Participant* Receives:

  • A $250 scholarship

*Sponsor: CHSFoundation, located at 5500 Cenex Drive, Inver Grove Heights, MN 55077, is thesole sponsor of YF&R Collegiate Discussion Meet. Each Scholarship Recipientis solely responsible for the payment of any and all related federal and/orstate income tax with respect to the receipt of this award.

In the event anyof the above event prizes/awards are unavailable, AFBF reserves theright to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value in its sole discretion.
