AFBF Excellence in Agriculture

The Farm Bureau Excellence in Agriculture Award Program is designed as an opportunity for young farmers and ranchers, while actively contributing and growing through their involvement in Farm Bureau and agriculture, to earn recognition. Participants will be judged on their involvement in agriculture, leadership ability, involvement and participation in Farm Bureau and other organizations (i.e., civic, service and community).

AFBF YF&R Excellence in Agriculture Winner* Receives:

  • 2011 Dodge Ram Pickup (approximate retail value of $35,000)

*Sponsor: Ram Trucks, located at 1000 Chrysler Drive, Auburn Hills, MI 48326, is the sponsor of the Award. The 2011 Dodge Ram Pickup award is not transferable, assignable, and/or redeemable for cash. The Award Winner is solely responsible for the payment of any and all related federal and/or state income tax with respect to the receipt of this award.

  • Paid registration to the 2011 AFBF YF&R Leadership Conference
    • February 5 – 7, 2011 Orlando, FL

The Three Runners-Up** Each Receive:

  • $6,000.00 Savings Bond (Series EE; cash value of the bond when received is $3,000)
  • Stihl Farm Boss (approximate retail value of $360)

**Sponsor: Stihl, located at 536 Viking Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23452, is the sponsor of the Excellence in Agriculture Runners-Up Awards. The $6000.00 Savings Bond and the Stihl Farm Boss award are not transferable, assignable, and/or redeemable for cash. Each Runner-Up Award Winner is solely responsible for the payment of any and all related federal and/or state income tax with respect to the receipt of these awards.

In the event any of the above event prizes/awards are unavailable, AFBF reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value in its sole discretion.
