Young Farmers & Ranchers

The Young Farmers & Ranchers program includes both men and women between the ages of 18-35. The objective of the Young Farmers & Ranchers program is to provide leadership in building a more effective Farm Bureau to preserve our individual freedoms and expand our opportunities in agriculture. read more

Women's Leadership Program

The American Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership (AFBWL) program provides women with the training and education they need to become powerful advocates for today’s agriculture. The program provides women with leadership training, communication skills, and networking to strengthen their ability to encourage positive change in their communities and in the agricultural industry. Two examples of key programs spearheaded by the program include the annual Women’s Communication Boot Camp and the year-round Our Food Link program. read more

PAL - Partners in Advocacy Leadership

The American Farm Bureau Federation created the Partners in Advocacy Leadership (PAL) program to create advocates for agriculture and accelerate personal development for engaged members of our organization. The program is also made possible by sponsorships from Monsanto and the Farm Credit Foundation. read more

Rural Development

The American Farm Bureau Rural Entrepreneurship Initiative enhances the economic viability of rural communities, creates rural economic development infrastructures, and supports rural communities through a variety of initiatives. read more

County Activities of Excellence

The Farm Bureau County Activities of Excellence (CAE) Program is designed to celebrate and recognize such programs. Originally known as the County Farm Bureau Idea Exchange, the program now focuses on the priority areas of the organization. The purpose of the program is to recognize and share successful county Farm Bureau programs and activities. Fifteen county Farm Bureaus from across the nation will be selected to present a display of their winning activity during the Farm Bureau Showcase at the organization’s annual convention.
