"The American Farm Bureau is calling a recent court order a major victory for farmers.
"An appeals court ruled the EPA must base its decisions on sound science and the law. It centers around the banning of chlorpyrifos as the Agency claimed it was unsafe for food crops.
"Multiple ag groups, like AFBF and the American Soybean Association, fought the ban, voicing their opinions to EPA Administrator Michael Regan. AFBF President Zippy Duvall says the court’s decision sends a message to the Agency that they must use sound science when drafting rules."
