Farm Bureau Urges Congress to Take Action on the Farm Bill in Washington Examiner Ad

News / In The News June 12, 2018

American Farm Bureau Federation placed a full-page ad in the Washington Examiner urging members of Congress to pass a new farm bill. “Risk management programs in the farm bill would help our farmers deal with wild swings in agricultural markets, weather calamities and stormy seas on the horizon of the international marketplace” notes the ad. It also includes bullet points on the legislation such as: feeds hungry Americans who are struggling to keep food on their plates; supports jobs here at home; protects our natural resources; helps secure our domestic food supply and keeps our nation strong. The ad also features a link to AFBF’s advocacy site: www.fb.org/advocacy/farmbill.
