Feeding Minds Press, the publishing arm of the American Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture offers a range of holiday ideas for the bookworm in your life. Micheal Clements shares more.

Clements: Holiday shoppers can find agriculture-focused children books this gift-giving season from Feeding Minds Press. Julia Recko is the Senior Director of Publishing and Education Outreach for The American Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture. She explains several options available.

Recko: Feeding Minds Press has a couple of things to offer to shoppers, especially in the holiday season. One of our books called ‘Barn at Night’ has got a wonderful winter and holiday vibe. And that book just won the Silver Moonbeam Award in the picture book category for 4-year-olds to 8-year olds. And also, we have another book that just won an award called ‘I LOVE Strawberries’. It won Good Housekeeping’s Best Kids Book Award, so very exciting for that award.

Clements: All the books offered by Feeding Minds Press help readers learn more about modern agriculture.

Recko: Feeding Minds Press was really started to create engaging books about modern agriculture. We really want to show young readers what farms look like today. Agriculture is a really exciting career field, and we want to make sure that students see it as something fun and exciting and fresh. And of course, we're here to tell the story of agriculture and those who live it and work it.

Clements: You can find the books at all the places you normally purchase books from.

Recko: But also, you can find them on Amazon, on Barnes and Noble, you can find them in the FB store where we also sell educator guides and ag mags to accompany them if you're looking to create a nice educator bundle package for a teacher gift, and you can also order them through Bookshop, which will help you find a local independent bookstore near you as well.
