The Wall Street Journal’s Feb. 10 lead editorial was a full-throated defense of free trade and a warning that protectionism could take an unacceptable toll on farm country. Editorial page writers based much of their piece on interviews with AFBF Chief Economist Bob Young and Dale Moore, executive director public policy, as well as our own economic analysis of the situation, which they cited in the editorial.
