American Farm Bureau Federation: Cochran’s Leadership Will be Missed

Newsroom / March 6, 2018

The following may be attributed to American Farm Bureau Federation President Zippy Duvall:

“Farm Bureau applauds and thanks Sen. Thad Cochran for his career of service to American agriculture. Sen. Cochran has been a champion for farmers, ranchers and rural communities in his home state of Mississippi and across the nation. His service as chair of the Appropriations, Agriculture, and Homeland Security committees and Ag Appropriations subcommittee has been invaluable. In addition, his support for the Agriculture Department’s Cochran Fellowship Program has helped spread agricultural technology and innovation around the world.

“While we will miss Sen. Cochran’s leadership, we congratulate him on his well-earned retirement.”
