The Young Farmers & Ranchers program includes both men and women between the ages of 18-35. The objective of the Young Farmers & Ranchers program is to provide leadership in building a more effective Farm Bureau to preserve our individual freedoms and expand our opportunities in agriculture. read more

Women's Leadership

The American Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership (AFBWL) program provides women with the training and education they need to become powerful advocates for today’s agriculture. The program provides women with leadership training, communication skills, and networking to strengthen their ability to encourage positive change in their communities and in the agricultural industry. Two examples of key programs spearheaded by the program include the annual Women’s Communication Boot Camp and the year-round Our Food Link program. read more

PAL - Partners in Advocacy Leadership

The American Farm Bureau Federation created the Partners in Advocacy Leadership (PAL) program to create advocates for agriculture and accelerate personal development for engaged members of our organization. The program is also made possible by sponsorships from Monsanto and Farm Credit. read more

Patriot Project

The Farm Bureau Patriot Project is a mentorship program that connects military veteran beginning farmers and ranchers with experienced Farm Bureau member farmers and ranchers. read more

Farm Bureau Safety & Health Network

The mission of the Farm Bureau Safety and Health Network is to provide leadership and assistance to local and state Farm Bureaus promoting safety and health in agricultural and rural communities. read more

Rural Resilience

As any farmer or rancher can tell you, farm life can be demanding and stressful. It’s even tougher now with trade wars, natural disasters, depressed commodity prices, labor shortages and many other issues weighing heavily on the farm economy. Given these challenges, more and more farmers today are experiencing stress and mental health issues, either directly or by having a friend or family member in distress. read more
