Farr and her husband Whitney own a cattle and custom-farming business that includes a 300-acre organic row crop farm. The Farrs have competed in all three YF&R competitive events in recent years and were state Achievement Award finalists the last three years. The Achievement Award recognizes young farmers and ranchers who have excelled in their farming or ranching operations and exhibited superior leadership abilities. Participants are evaluated on a combination of their agricultural operation’s growth and financial progress, Farm Bureau leadership and leadership outside of Farm Bureau.

Farr earned a bachelor’s degree from Clemson University and a juris doctor degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. She works off the farm as an attorney.

Congratulations!
