American Farm Bureau Federation’s David Salmonsen was quoted by the Guardian in an article on agriculture’s concern about U.S. trade. “As Donald Trump’s trade war escalates, a lot of farmers are worried,” noted the Guardian.

When discussing the current trade situation, Salmonsen, AFBF senior director of congressional relations, said “One of the most concerning things is how this is escalating. Farmers are often the first to feel the hit in trade disputes that may not involve their own products,” he said.
