2026 AFBF logo final 2

Welcome to the American Farm Bureau Convention. We are providing this guide as a resource to help you plan your coverage.

Because schedules and events are subject to change and many key events happen simultaneously, registered media will receive emails on Sunday and Monday briefly recapping the day’s events, and previewing the upcoming day’s highlights. For up-to-date information on the convention schedule, download our conference app – instructions are listed below. Please note, events for media only will not be listed in the app.

The AFBF Communications & Public Policy Team HQ

The American Farm Bureau Federation’s Communications Team will provide a full range of media services during the convention, from news releases to interview assistance. Our convention features a number of concurrent events and our comprehensive news operation is designed to help you cover everything. Bring your cameras, laptops and audio recorders, plug in and we will help with the rest.

The AFBF Communications Team HQ, media workroom and news conference room will be located in the Anaheim Convention Center and open from Friday, Jan. 9, through Tuesday, Jan. 13. Most newsworthy activities will begin on Sunday and conclude with Tuesday’s voting delegate session.

Note: All times listed in this media guide are Pacific Time; rooms are in the Anaheim Convention Center unless otherwise noted.

General Session Access

So that attendees will have unobstructed views of the stage during the general sessions, there will be designated seating for credentialed media. Please utilize the reserved seating if you’d like it to be available at future conventions to avoid a high vacancy rate in this premier seating. If you need assistance finding the media seating area, please reach out to AFBF staff.

Pool photos will be available for general sessions. See below.

Pool Photos and Video

Official AFBF photographers for the general sessions will have limited access to the center stage area, and AFBF will provide “pool” photographs for state Farm Bureau and news media use shortly after the close of each general session at http://photos.fb.org.

Selected workshops, Cultivation Center Stage events and special event photos will be organized by event in collections at http://photos.fb.org. Note: only select events will offer pool photos. Feel free to check with AFBF communications staff if you would like photos of a specific event and aren’t sure if it will be covered.

Pool video will be available via Dropbox at this link: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/tm0u9a6l45cdqp4l8gbez/AKT9W9jqwQskpAXYngcLlIw?rlkey=dnhclmb6fhwlu5oin79eq3n06&st=86sdpx1m&dl=0

All general sessions and Cultivation Center Stage sessions (on the trade show floor) will be livestreamed and recorded for later viewing. The livestream will be available on the homepage of fb.org.

Voting Delegate Session

All registered media will have access to reserved seating at tables in the voting delegate session on Tuesday, Jan. 13. Please wear your media credentials to access the delegate session.
