North Carolina Farm Bureau member Linda Pryor recently penned an op-ed for USA Today about farm labor and how important guestworkers are to America’s food supply.

“I’m often told this problem is too complex to fix,” Pryor wrote. “I disagree. We can have both a secure border and a legal, reliable workforce. It will require a straightforward approach, removing the unrealistic hurdles, and standing with the farmers who put food on every American table and the families who rely on a stable food supply.”

Pryor and her family grow apples, corn and hay and raise beef cattle. She is a member of AFBF’s current Partners in Advocacy Leadership class.
