Be Part of AFBF’s July Fourth Tradition: Share Local Food Prices!

It’s almost time to kick off AFBF’s annual July Fourth Summer Cookout Survey. Each year, we track the average cost of traditional cookout foods for 10 people. Help from Farm Bureau members across the country (and other participants) makes this possible.

Whether you check prices online or in-store, your input helps us create a national snapshot of summer cookout food costs.

How to Participate (June 1-7):

  1. Collect local retail prices for favorite summer cookout foods including cheeseburgers, chicken breasts, pork chops, homemade potato salad, strawberries and ice cream
  1. Submit prices here: FB.Org/CookoutSurvey (works on mobile or desktop)

Results will be shared in a national news release and across social media on June 24.

Thank you for helping us tell the story of food and farming during one of America’s most celebrated holidays – the Fourth of July.
